General
The following terms and conditions (hereinafter: the “Terms and Conditions”) apply between you and HENSODE, operated by Mateo Guillebaut (SIREN: 880 701 636), with registered address at 5 boulevard Saint Martin, 75003 Paris, France (hereinafter: “HENSODE”, “we” or “us”), and apply to all use of and orders placed on the website hensode.com (hereinafter: the “Website”). By using the Website and/or placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy. Please note that HENSODE does not guarantee that all products presented on the Website are in stock or available for purchase. HENSODE reserves the right to discontinue any product at any time. HENSODE reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version applicable to your order is the version in effect at the time you place your order. You are responsible for keeping yourself updated with such changes. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the Website or place an order.
Language
The language of the Terms and Conditions is English.
Placing an order
By using the Website and/or placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. Before placing your order, you will be given the opportunity to review your selections, the information you have provided and the total price of your order, and to correct any input errors. Please note that products in your shopping cart are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers until you complete your order and receive an order confirmation email. If prolonged inactivity causes your session to expire, your selected products may be lost and will need to be re-entered.
Customer account
You are not required to create an account in order to place an order. Orders are stored in our internal system for the purpose of processing, tracking and customer service. Stored information may include billing and shipping addresses and order history, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Order confirmation
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email containing your order number, product details, payment details and delivery information. Please note that this email is an acknowledgement that we have received your order and does not constitute acceptance of the order. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us at contact@hensode.com.
Acceptance and shipping
All orders are subject to availability. Once your order has been processed, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. The shipping confirmation constitutes acceptance of your order. If a product becomes unavailable after payment, a full refund will be issued.
Prices
All prices are shown in euros (€).
VAT is included where applicable. Shipping costs are indicated at checkout.
HENSODE reserves the right to cancel any order in case of a manifest pricing error.
If a package is not collected and this results in additional costs, such costs may be charged to the customer.
Made-to-order products
All HENSODE products are made to order.
Production begins after your order has been placed.
This means: payment is taken in advance/ production time is added to delivery time /orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed
Personalised items
Personalised or custom-made products cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.
Payment
We accept the following payment methods: Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
Payments are securely processed through providers compliant with industry security standards (e.g. Shopify Payments / Stripe). The order amount is charged at the time of purchase. All cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If authorization is refused, the order will be cancelled.
Delivery
All orders are shipped via DHL.
Estimated delivery times are provided as guidelines only:
France: 1–2 business days
Europe: 2–5 business days
International: 2–5 business days
Delivery times may vary depending on product availability, payment verification, customs procedures or other external factors. A tracking number will be provided once your order has been shipped. All orders are insured during transit until delivery. Free shipping is offered on orders over €450 within Europe and €700 internationally. Otherwise, shipping costs are calculated at checkout. For deliveries outside the EU, customs duties and taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to exercise your right of withdrawal. You then have an additional 14 days to return the item.
Returned products must be:
- unworn
- in perfect condition
- in original packaging
Items showing any signs of wear (scratches, marks, deformation) will not be accepted. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. The customer is responsible for the goods until they are received by HENSODE. Returns are carefully inspected upon arrival and we reserve the right to reject any item that does not meet these requirements. No returns are accepted for custom products. Exceptions apply only if the item is defective or if the wrong item was delivered.
Exchanges
HENSODE does not offer exchanges. If you wish to change size or product, you must return the item (if eligible) and place a new order.
Refunds
Refunds are processed within 14 business days after receipt and approval of the return. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If an item is returned due to a claim or incorrect delivery, the full amount including shipping costs will be refunded.
Defective products
If you receive a defective item, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery. If the defect is confirmed, we will either replace the item or issue a refund.
Warranty
HENSODE offers a 2-year warranty in accordance with French law. The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects.
The warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear
- scratches or minor impacts
- natural oxidation of silver
- improper use
- failure to follow care instructions
- unauthorised modifications or repairs
- external damage (accidents, fire, natural events, etc.)
Natural characteristics such as patina or metal evolution are not considered defects.
Liability
HENSODE’s liability is limited to the amount paid for your order. HENSODE shall not be liable for any indirect damages, loss of profit or force majeure events.
Intellectual property
All content on the Website, including images, text, design and logo, is the exclusive property of HENSODE. Any reproduction or use without prior written consent is prohibited and may result in legal action.
Personal data
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies
Cookies are used on the Website to improve your browsing experience. They allow us to recognize your device and remember your preferences. You can configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Please note that the Website may not function properly if cookies are disabled. By using the Website, you consent to the use of cookies.
